Helpful Information

Billing & Insurance

Homefront Speech Therapy is dedicated to providing custom tailored therapy to your child to meet his or her specific needs. At this time, we are an out-of-network provider accepting private pay clients. Private pay services allow us the freedom to make choices about your child’s individual needs without limitation on the type of therapy or restriction on the frequency of sessions.

Although we do not directly bill insurance companies, we will provide you a detailed superbill if you wish to seek reimbursement from your insurance company. We also do not require a doctor's referral for an evaluation or services. Referrals from a doctor’s office or other professional are not necessary. If you are a concerned parent, feel free to contact us for a consultation.

  • Absolutely! School-based services are based on a child’s disability or the degree to which it impacts their educational environment. Sometimes formal assessments and scores do not show a complete picture of the child’s abilities or areas of need and additional services could be beneficial for the child. If your child’s needs indicate intervention is warranted, private therapy is an excellent option to support your child’s speech and language development across settings.

  • Yes, an evaluation is required prior to services starting. This includes both formal and informal assessments. However, Homefront Speech Therapy will accept outside evaluations that have been conducted within the last 6 months. If you have a recent evaluation, we will supplement those results by conducting an informal assessment. An evaluation helps guide our treatment goals, therapy approach, and session frequency to help your child achieve their best outcomes.
